The Medika Cendikia Journal (JMC) managed by STIKes Karsa Husada Garut is a scientific journal in the fields of health, nursing, midwifery, health analysts and other health. JMC is published twice a year, namely in February and August. JMC accepts articles / articles in the form of relevant original research, literature reviews, case reports, with the following conditions :
- Research Article
Contains articles about the results of original research in the fields of health, nursing, midwifery, health analysts and other health. The format of research articles consists of titles, abstracts (Indonesian and English), introduction, methods, results, discussion, conclusions and bibliography.
- Literature review
An article review (review) on the latest health issues, nursing, midwifery, health analysts and health. The library review format consists of titles, abstracts (Indonesian and English), introduction, contents, and bibliography.
- Case Report
Contains articles about cases in the fields of health, nursing, midwifery, health analysts, and other health which need attention to be disseminated. The format of the case report consists of titles, abstracts (Indonesian and English), introduction, cases, discussions, and bibliography.
To avoid duplication, JMC does not accept articles that have been published or are being submitted to other magazines. The author must ensure that all supporting writers have agreed. All articles will be discussed by experts in the appropriate scientific field (peer-reviewed) and the editorial board. Articles that need improvement are returned to the author. Research articles must obtain the approval of the ethics committee or consider the aspects of research ethics that can be accounted for.
Articles are typed using MICROSOFT WORD
The title page contains the title of the article, the name of the author without a title, the author's affiliate institution, the name and address of the correspondence, telephone number, facsimile number, and e-mail address. The title of the article is a maximum of 14 words.
Abstracts and Keywords
Abstracts for research articles, literature reviews, and case reports are made in Indonesian and English, up to 250 words. Abstracts are made concise and clear in accordance with the format of the introduction, methods, results, and discussion (IMRAD). Choose 3-5 key words that can help formulate the index.
The text of the article is organized according to the appropriate chapter, namely introduction, methods, results, and discussion.
Tables are made sequentially and typed 1 space. Each table must be given a short title. Place an explanation and abbreviation for the description table, not in the table title. The maximum number of tables is 7. The format of the table only uses horizontal lines (vertical omitted), taking into account groups of data that need to be separated by lines.
Image entered in the article. Images of people who might be identified or illustrated that have been published must be accompanied by written permission. Images must be numbered according to the appearance in the text. Maximum number of images is 7 pieces.

Reference is written according to Vancouver's writing rules, numbered according to the appearance in the article, not alphabetically. List the author's name for a maximum of 6 people, if more, write the name of the first 6 people, then et al. The total number of references is 30 pieces from the last 10 years.
Reference is sought from the primary literature, as little as possible secondary literature. Avoid using abstract as a reference. Referrals from articles to be published by certain magazines must be written "in press".
Avoid referrals in the form of personal communication except for information that is not possible to obtain from public sources. Enter the name of the source, date of communication, written permission, and confirmation of the accuracy of the source of communication.
